Camellia & Apricot Cleansing Oil is micro-biome friendly, gentle and light in texture. Traditional cleansers often fail to adequately hydrate and may cause the skin to overproduce natural oil. This organic cleansing oil balances the skin’s natural oil production and removes debris and makeup without stripping the skin of its protective oils. It contains the most sought-after oils of Japanese Camellia and Fig Seed. This cleanser harnesses their rich fatty acid content and leaves your skin moisturized and silky soft. This is also a marine-based cleanser and contains several forms of Brown Algae as well as Aloe Vera Gel, Nettle Leaf, and a blend of essential oils. It has the sweet scent of Apricot with a hint of Seaweed.
The Rosemira Organics Camellia and Apricot Cleansing Oil is a unique and effective oil cleanser that I truly enjoyed using. Unlike many other cleansing oils, this one requires a good shake before each use to properly mix the ingredients. If not shaken well, the consistency can feel off, and the product may dispense unevenly. It has a distinct greenish tint due to its organic formulation, which also gives it a natural yet slightly unusual scent. While the apricot note is noticeable, there’s an underlying earthy aroma that may take some getting used to—but it’s not unpleasant. One of the things I love about this oil is its lightweight feel. It effortlessly breaks down foundation, sunscreen, and light makeup, leaving my skin clean and hydrated without any greasy residue. However, it struggles with heavy, waterproof mascaras and eyelash glue, so for stubborn eye makeup, a separate remover is necessary. If I’m wearing a natural, lightweight mascara, this oil does a good job of removing it. The oil emulsifies well when water is added, making it easy to rinse off without leaving a film. I appreciate that it comes in a pump dispenser, which makes application easy while also allowing for quick shaking before use. As with any oil cleanser, I apply it directly onto dry skin, massaging it in for at least a minute before emulsifying with water. I find that this technique enhances its cleansing power and leaves my skin with a beautiful glow. Overall, this is a mild yet effective organic cleansing oil that works best for removing base makeup while keeping the skin soft and nourished. Though it may not be ideal for waterproof products, its hydrating formula and natural ingredients make it a great addition to a double cleansing routine.
I am very impressed with the performance of this cleanser! It left my skin so clean, soft, and glowy. It does have a scent that i personally didn’t like.
Camellia & Apricot Cleansing Oil offers exotic and purposeful super ingredients. The oil is a minty color that turns milky. Anti inflammatory and antioxidant properties enhance skin plumpness and sheen after use. Ingredients such as rich seed oils, Japanese camelia, green tea extract, aloe, also seaweed, algea, tulip, apple, apricot, nutritious herbs like bladderwrack and nettle. And a unique complex botanical scent, like a flower shop. The colors of the bottle and label are stunning with an oriental aesthetic. I love the way the high end custom dark bottle stands out and has a black and gold label, with gold roses. It was one of the more luxurious styled face cleansers.
