This is an ultra-nourishing under-eye balm made with potent botanicals and unrefined oils. It is anhydrous, meaning there is no water or water-based products in it. It is very potent and every single ingredient is there for its skin-benefiting ability. This balm has brightening, soothing, and moisturizing properties, and can help lighten the appearance of dark circles and wrinkles. It can also aid in easing the appearance and texture of scars, due to the regenerative nutrients found in rosehip seed oil. It also contains beta-carotene for antioxidant abilities, as well as its ability to reduce UVA-light-induced damage. The top star is extracted from the Terminalia Arjuna tree. It contains terpenoids, flavonoids (quercetin, rutin), and phenolic acids (gallic acid, ellagic acid) with powerful anti-free radicals ability. It is known to visibly reduce eye puffiness and reduces wrinkles and fine lines under the eyes. Arjuna can also reduce blue pigmentation of dark circles and skin pigmentation of eye area becomes more even-toned. Finally, it stimulates microcirculation around the eye area.

A true salve or balm, the Brightening Rosehip Seed Eye Balm is fantastic for moisture and especially perfect for winter. The emollient salve melts into a velvety oil with the heat of your skin, and it absorbs nicely. You only need a tiny amount and it feels very gentle, with minimal to no noticeable scent. I've used the Balm both day and night, and, despite its richness, have had no issues with makeup sitting on top of it. Its vibrant yellow/orange hue is also not noticeable on the skin.
