This product weights hair down unfortunately. No matter if applied on wet or dry - it's just not for fine type of hair.
I am not a surfer, but I have dry color treated hair. This product has a nice texture and smell. I just thought for my fine hair it was a little heavy, but maybe I used too much product.
It's winter time where I'm at so unfortunately can't attest to sea hair part but this feels great in my hair and really like the packaging used! I used it specifically on my ends where I do have some sun damaged and it felt significantly smoother, more tameable and hydrated!
