It has a refreshing citrus-lemon scent and leaves my curls beautifully defined and clumped together, without the need for any extra products. This is very rare for me to get good curl definition without a styling routine. While it does take a bit longer to lather on my thick hair, the results make it well worth the effort. Once it lathered up in the shower detangling was a breeze, and I could immediately tell my curls were happy after rinsing it out. It also helped reduce some of my usual frizz in the process which is always a plus. The formula is gentle yet effective. And if you’re curious, I experienced a normal amount of shedding with this product.

This is such a versatile product that could be used on so many different hair types, textures, or genders. I definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a solid plastic free hair option.

The problem with this, as most bar soaps, is there's no way to know what it is after it's been opened and put in my shower. I don't have the capacity to remember what each bar is in my shower. I'd simply print/emboss a S or 'C' into the soaps as I ended up trying it once and by the second spa day I had I forgot what it was and what it did. It's also not appealing in my shower where there's water hitting it, making it slimy. It also isn't appealing for guests (they don't want/I don't want them to share) and again-- there's no way for them to know what these soaps are..love the zero waste idea, but beyond that not really for me.
