This gentle pump formula has a very subtle natural rose scent. I like it. Because this is an unscented fragrance, the rose scent appears to come from the rose hip seed oil and rose essence. It contains colloidial oat, Rosehip seed, aloe vera and avocado oil to nourish the skin. This cleansing milk feels ultra nourishing on my skin. It truly soothes my skin as I wash it. The formula effectively removes my make up and excess oil while leaving my skin ready for the next steps in my skin care routine. I like that I don’t need to use a lot to create a pleasant milky wash. This cleansing milk is easy to rinse off with a bit of water and a damp cloth. I love that it can be used morning and evening for simplifying my skin care routine. This product is made in the USA with simple ingredients that are cruelty free and vegan. This works for every skin type and worked well for my dry skin..
I love that this business is woman-owned, committed to sustainability, plant based, vegan, beegan, handmade, and they are based in Arizona, where they create all their formulas. This cleansing milk claims to remove dirt, impurities, soothe, and hydrate. I can confirm that it does all of that PLUS MORE! Because they mentioned it could be used as a shaving cream and I used it as such with good results. Here is where my rating has to drop this down a bit. I am not someone who complains about fragrance or smells because they don't usually affect me; I also prefer fragrance and scents in my skincare. But the smell of this was not it for me. I tried to use all the products for judging for the same amount of time, and it was a job to do that for this one. And it's not just a quick thing... From the moment I put this into my hands until quite a while after rinsing my face, I could smell it, and I couldn't deal with it. ( Even using for shaving, it was a bit nausating, but not as bad ) So, honestly, I'd give this 3 stars out of 5. But if you're looking for something that will clean, not strip, and hydrate your face while being good for the environment, woman-owned, and a small business, this is definitely something you should try.
