Drum roll please: for my first official review as a Judge for @certcleaninc! 🥁 Before I get into it: I just want to say, that there's something *so fulfilling* about being able to evaluate a product that you know has been crafted with care and responsibility. 💚 The thoughtful ingredients, the commitment to sustainability—it all just feels like a warm hug for the soul. So THANK YOU to @certcleaninc for selecting me as a judge in the Serum category (for the 10th Annual Clean Beauty Awards)! Let's get into it, eh? For my first (of seven!) serums, I tested out the Revitalizing Serum from @trabunapothecary. 💚 The Pros: ✨ Lovely packaging - feels chic and pretty enough to sit on my bathroom countertop! ✨ Love the brands mission, to: “celebrate the richness of Latin American botanicals, prioritizing ethically sourced elements like cacay, passion fruit, chia, and papaya oils.” An FYI: ✨It has a strong fragrance: but I .personally didn’t mind it. It was strong, but not unpleasant and the Cons: ✨Unfortunately, after one week, I didn’t see or feel any sort of difference in my skin at all. (with the possible exception of a liiiiilte extra hydration). ✨ Honestly: in my opinion: this would be better categorized as a Facial Oil than a Serum. 👉Ultimately: After hearing about the brands mission, I really wanted to love this product. It might be a good option for someone who likes an oily/film feel on their skin. Unfortunately it felt too heavy for me. Other than that, the packaging is nice and the scent doesn't bother me.
This is an oil serum which will replace 3 products in your skincare routine with just one. It has a nutty scent and the blend of oils has anti-aging, skin healing and sun protective properties. It's very lightweight and it gives such a luxurious feel to the skin.
