A concentrated formulation of olive fruit extract (OliPhenolia®) with an extremely high content of natural polyphenols, especially hydroxytyrosol – powerful antioxidants – and ultrapure fruit water, also obtained from olives, all from biodynamic agriculture and produced at Fattoria La Vialla. Other ingredients worthy of particular mention: firming hyaluronic acid, moisturising glycerine. Effifficient against damage caused by exposure to UVB rays and the harmful effects of free radicals, soothing and decongestant, intensely hydrating, anti-wrinkle, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-germ and regenerative (anti-age) . This week, I tested out the Intensive Serum from OliPhenolia.🌟 . The Pros: ✨Extremely unique product: This serum is made from olives - straight from the Fattoria La Vialla farm, winery and estate in Tuscany. More specifically, it is a “cold extract” concentrate of olive polyphenols. ✨Biodynamic & Organic farm: (I have a background in Waldorf education so I’m *very* familiar with what all goes into Biodynamic farming). . An FYI: ✨Small ingredient list: glycerin, hyaluronic acid, preservatives/Excipients, and derivatives from the olives grown on the Fattoria La Vialla farm. . and the Cons: ✨Didn’t do anything: Unfortunately, after a week of use, I didn’t see or feel any difference whatsoever. ✨Scent: was unpleasant. It didn’t last long (faded almost instantly) but I held my breath while applying. . 👉FINAL THOUGHTS: I really wanted to like this - this is such a unique product, and having a bottle shipped to me straight from their farm in Italy felt like SUCH a privileged gift! (Especially after peeking at their Instagram, and getting a look into their farm life in Tuscany!) However: after a week of use, I just didn’t see any sort of difference - physically or visually. Unfortunately this is getting tossed into my PROBABLY NOT pile. (It's not getting totally nixed because it IS such a unique serum, and I wish I could have given it a liiiiitle more time).
