Love how light this serum is and cooling on the skin. It also has a gentle, lovely citrus scent to it.

This lightweight gel serum packs a superstar list of radiance-boosting ingredients, from vitamin C and ferulic acid to green tea, shiitake, and gotu kola. Botanical hyaluronic acid and aloe give it a slippery texture that glides on, smoothes, and hydrates, leaving skin ultra soft. It makes a great AM treatment before SPF and makeup (and its citrus essential oils double as a morning aromatherapy boost). Works particularly well to fade hyperpigmentation. I'd reach for this one again and again.

This week, I tested out the Vitamin C Plumping Serum from In Your Face Skincare. 🌟 . The Pros: ✨Hello Glow! This brought a lovely, glowy “radiant” look to my skin. (I will say, though, this glow didn't "last" very long. It was like an initial glow but then faded as the day went on). ✨Hydration: the side of my face I was testing definitely felt softer and more moisturized than the other side of my face. I would say this is my biggest pro/takeaway! . An FYI: ✨I came down sick halfway through my testing week: so this product didn’t get as *fair* of a test as I would have liked. Although I WAS able to feel the change in hydration, I didn’t see any change at all with my discoloration/redness. I don’t know if that was because of the time limit (1 week), because I was sick, or if the product just didn't’ perform in the way I hoped. . and the Cons: ✨The smell:. Isn’t my favorite. It fades quickly so isn’t a deal breaker to me, but is a bit earthy. It reminds me a bit of the Beautycounter ORP smell (iykyk). . 👉My final opinion: I am really digging this serum! But because I got sick while testing this product, I totally admit that it just didn’t get as fair of a test as I’d like. BUT from what I can tell so far: it has serious potential. I really loved how soft and hydrated my skin felt in particular, which can be so tricky in the winter. I’m putting this into my bathroom cabinet for further testing (vs into the dreaded “dud” pile). I’m curious to see if it can help with my redness/discoloration! (I will circle back around after I finish judging all the other Cert Clean products).
