The pads are drenched in the calming toner. It use them after cleansing by gently swiping the pad over my skin with the embossed side of the pad to remove dead skin cells. I then use the smooth side of the pad to refine skin texture. The pads can even be used on the back, chest, rough elbows, and other body parts with dead skin. The pads are very gentle on my skin and leave my skin very soft, smooth, and refreshed. They have a light herbal scent that is not overpowering. They do not make my skin feel dry or tight afterwards. They are perfect to keep my dull winter skin looking soft and smooth. Effective and easy to use pads that I highly recommend!

I have been really enjoying these calming pads! First of all they come in a very nice packaging that protects them from getting dry. The pads are a nice size since i use them on my face and on my body. I love the fact that they are double sided, a textured side and a soft side. The pads leave my skin hydrated and don't irritate my skin. I love that they don't leave my face sticky or tacky. These toner pads are very effective. I have normal combination skin and I have seen results with my pores.
