I love the way this mist feels. It does leave a light layer on the skin I suspect from the aloe that feels really nice. It has a lovely set of ingredients to help nourish my skin. I think it is perfect to help with skin dealing with sun damage and I would like using it in the winter when I spend very little time outdoors and do want a little sun exposure for my health. I would not replace sunscreen use with this but I think it makes a great add on.
As a Cert Clean 9th Annual Clean Beauty Awards judge for sun care products, I’ve had the pleasure of trying the @rainorganicaskincare Marine Layer Anti-Oxidant Mist. The antioxidant mist is not a sunscreen. It contains Vitamin C and peptides Prjventhelia and Juvelen, which “help shield the skin from the effects of UV exposure and environmental pollutants”. Aloe, rose water, cucumber water and the peptide Telangyn help to soothe and hydrate skin during and post sun-exposure. I keep the pocket-size mist handy so I can easily reapply it if I’m outside for long periods of time. I also like the no fuss ease of spritzing the antioxidant mist on my bare face for early morning beach walks. I make sure to spray it on my neck and exposed chest area. It feels refreshing on my normal to dry skin, which is often exposed to harsh sunlight and strong winds at the beach year-round. I’ve also applied the mist pre-makeup. The oil-free mist quickly absorbs into my skin and doesn’t leave a sticky or greasy residue. A great addition to my clean beauty sun care collection!
