What a very innovative idea to have spf in a dry shampoo! We rarely have the opportunity to protect our scalp from the sun unless it's through wearing a hat. I have tried many clean/natural brand shampoos and this by far is the best! They not only was able to truly do the job of degreasing the hair but the tint worked very well on my dark hair and didn't affect my clothes.
I’ve been trying out the @wearearbre Spruce Tinted Dry Shampoo with SPF 20 as a @certcleaninc 2024 Clean Beauty Awards judge for sun care. This was my first time using a dry shampoo and it’s a clean beauty product that I will continue to use well past judging. I like that the Arbre Spruce Tinted Dry Shampoo provides broad-spectrum sun protection to my scalp without making my hair feel greasy or weighed down with product. The tinted dry shampoo quickly and easily blended into my dye-free ash brown, blonde and grey hair strands without leaving an obvious white cast. Just a couple of shakes of the recyclable dry shampoo container gave me enough product to give my hair lots of added texture and volume. I have a long, shaggy haircut with multiple layers. I like how I was able to get long lasting lift at the hair roots by just finger-combing the product along my scalp. I also have less flyaways each time I use Spruce, which I much appreciate, especially on windy beach days. The mineral sunscreen’s active ingredients are Zinc Oxide 12.8% and Titanium Dioxide 12.9%. The dry shampoo also contains Arrowroot Powder (‘absorbs excess oil’), Bamboo Extract (‘strengthens hair and soothes the scalp’), Corn Starch & Rice Powder (‘create natural volume and texture’), Kaolin Clay (‘gently purifies, balances oil production, and leaves your scalp feeling soothed’) and Micas (‘shimmering minerals add a touch of sun-kissed magic without harsh chemicals’).
