As someone who is used to my lip care products not having any sort of tint or colour to them, I was surprised to receive the "Clean Lip Gloss" in the shade "Brooklyn" from Charlotte Cook Cosmetics to judge in the "lip care" category for the clean beauty awards. I'd always thought that lip products could either be nourishing and moisturizing OR have colour to them but haven't found many products good at doing both. Until now. This lip gloss contains caster oil, glycerin, and avocado oil which help achieve smooth, soft, moisturized lips without feeling tacky or sticky like some other products can. The "Brooklyn" shade is also soft, subtle, shimmery pink that will look good on most people (but they also have some brighter, bolder shades if that's what you're into).
This is such a beautiful light pink shade. It wears beautifully and isn't sticky. It hydrates the lips with a gorgeous splash of color.
As someone who is lip product obsessed, this gloss hits all the right notes for me! First of all, the ingredients are 100% clean and GMO-free, which makes this 100% worry-free for me. Secondly, the feel - it's very silky, not tacky, and leaves your lips feeling hydrated while giving the slightest hint of color. I can't stop putting this on!
