I tried the Pure Botanica Liquid Silk Leave-In Conditioner + Detangler as a Cert Clean 2024 Clean Beauty Awards judge for hair treatments. This Canadian clean hair product worked great for my low maintenance hair routine. I just lightly spritzed the leave-in conditioner onto my freshly shampooed hair, which I had towel dried, and was able to easily finger comb it. I then blow dried my hair without any styling tools- I don’t ever use a comb or brush. Pure Botanicals gave my hair lots of body and shine and it has an incredible scent. Founder Joliane (Joey) Thompson said that she uses an essential oil blend of Argentina lemons and lavender in her leave-in conditioner. I don’t wear synthetic perfumes so the refreshing citrus lavender blend highly appeals to me. Pure Botanicals Liquid Silk Leave-In Conditioner + Detangler contains silk peptides, argan oil, phyto keratin, glycerin, pro-vitamin B5 + E, arginine, serine and threonine to “help promote strength, shine, frizz control and manageability”.
