This product really gave my skin a dew complexion - both when I used in Hawaii and in BC during the winter month. I found it incredibly hydrating and for someone who is prone to drier skin, I was eager to use it in the morning. Not only was the smell incredibly pleasant but this oil hydrated my skin throughout the day. I would absolutely continue using this product
It has been years since I’ve used a product with tamanu oil, simply because I don’t find many on the market. But this powerhouse ingredient can really help troubled skin (like mine!). Great for those with oily or combination skin, acne, redness, and inflammation. The scent: a lovely, gentle herbal scent, grounded by the rich, nutty scent of tamanu oil The experience: what a beautiful serum. A light to medium weight consistency allows for the serum to sink into the skin, while still leaving a layer of protection on the skin. I enjoyed it best by rubbing it between my hands and then pressing it gently onto the skin. It worked so well under moisturizer, and even mixed with moisturizer. I don’t find the scent to be too strong, but rather pleasant and grounding. The results: it was such a pleasure to use this serum and my skin loved it. It really helped bring balance to my skin overall. I found it helped nourish the dry areas, while also balancing my oily t zone. No, I wasn’t oil free, but I did find that when using this I didn’t become oily as quickly throughout the day, and my makeup wore beautifully on those days. A real treat to use!
