For reference, I am a 50 year old woman with dry, mature skin. This mask is great for clarifying and detoxifying the skin. While I occasionally use clay masks to detoxify my pores from dead skin, this mask does not contain enough moisturizing benefits for my dry, mature skin. While this mask may not be hydrating enough for my skin, other skin types will definitely benefit from this mask.
I really enjoyed this Clay Mask. For me, it felt like a traditional mask that I would choose for an at home spa experience. The mask has a clean scent and a fresh & invigorating feel. My skin was softer and brighter after use.
This has a subtle texture (made with Canadian Glacial Clay, Kaolin Clay and Charcoal) that is so soft and easy to apply on the skin. I felt a cooling sensation when I was applying it on my face and also a mild tingling but it started to go away after few minutes. I let it stay for 15minutes and wiped off using a clean warm cloth. It was very easy to remove and there was no irritation felt. Instead, my skin feels more clearer and smooth especially on my nose area. I had a slight redness after but it also went away after few minutes.
