You only need to use a small amount, I left it on for a bit and enjoyed the fresh minty scent afterwards I gently rubbed it in using circular motions. It wiped away easily with a cloth and I was left feeling fresh and clean. I feel that exfoliating once or twice a week seemed to also give me a closer shave.
