Intrigued about what sets this brand apart from the others? Keep reading to discover if it deserves a space in your skincare vault.

Can you tell us about the history and founding story of your clean beauty brand?

In 2020, we decided to plant 40 lavender plants on our farm - they did really well, so the next step was, what do we do next? With my background in cosmetology, I knew there was something beneficial to lavender, so I started to research. The formula that we created sold out, and we knew we had something. So over the last two years, we have grown our farm to 6,000 lavender plants and over 20 products in our skincare and home lines.

What problem or need did your brand see in the beauty industry that inspired you to create a solution?

Clean, affordable all-natural beauty. With all the research I did, I couldn't find true field-to-bottle or farm-to-skin products. Sure, they were natural - but they didn't actually grow the ingredients for their products. We also wanted to keep our products 100% Canadian - with ingredients, supplies, partners - you name it.

What makes your clean beauty brand unique?

I think what sets our brand apart is the ingredients, the fact that the lavender we use in our products comes from one of the 6,000 plants. Our formulation is a best seller. We are locally sourced - all our products and ingredients are within Canada. I wanted our packaging to be clean, elegant, and environmentally conscious. We only use amber glass, which is the purest glass to recycle. We use very minimal plastic in our products and offer refills onsite.

What is one of your hero products? And why is this a product worth boasting about?

Lavish Lavender-infused Face Serum was one of our very first products (although it had another name at the get-go) and has remained one of our best sellers because of the luxurious blend of rich lavender botanicals and Hereward Farm's proprietary formula. Lavish Lavender-Infused Serum is a luxurious blend of natural, skin-healing ingredients that work together to rejuvenate and revitalize your skin. This unique formula features a potent combination of ultra-hydrating botanicals and antioxidants to help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven tone, and texture.

What is your brand's long-term vision for the future, and how do you see it evolving in the coming years?

We are expanding our wholesale business to get into more retailers across Canada. We will always stay true to our roots, of using local/Canadian products, and maintain an affordable option for all-natural skincare and home products.

Hereward Farms' commitment to creating field-to-bottle or farm-to-skin products and sustainable packaging is awe-inspiring. And their claim that their products are never tested on animals definitely appeals to conscious consumers.
