Marina Baldi is a Beauty Blogger and clean beauty advocate who is deeply in love with organic cosmetics that respect the environment. Florence-based Marina knows something about natural living, wellness and living a balanced and beautiful life. Marina was honoured to be chosen as one of 146 Clean Beauty Awards Judges and was so pleased to try out brands she otherwise would never have discovered.
When the Clean Beauty Award judges are asked to choose their top three favourite products, they make their selections because of a personal connection to the brand ethos, values packaging and what works best for their skin type or unique skin needs. They try a range of products in a particular category that fit their individual needs. The overall ranking system of the Clean Beauty Awards is a systematic scoring method based on a product’s efficacy and performance which means that personal preference, and unique skin concerns are not always reflected in the final results.
Marina suffers from rosacea and has couperose zones on her cheeks, which make her especially prone to sensitivity. This is part of what inspired Marina to become a clean beauty advocate. As a Clean Beauty Awards Judge, she tested ______ facial cleansers and shared her top three favourite products.

The Double Cleanse - Cleansing Butter Balm is a luxurious rose gold, coconut and berry makeup remover and buttery cleansing balm. Suitable for all skin types and free from essential oils, this decadent cleanser effortlessly melts away makeup, sunscreen, dirt and impurities as it transforms from a soft buttery balm into a milk. Formulated with nourishing, antioxidant-rich plant oils and Amazonian Cupuacu Butter, it is the perfect cleanser, pre-cleanser or double cleanser for all skin types.
The Double Cleanse stood out to Marina because of the delicate texture and impressive results:
“Easy to use, this product melts away with water. It is soft, delicate, and has a beautiful scent to match its lovely ingredients. The product pleasantly surprised me because it is the only one that hasn't burned my eyes when removing makeup.
