What make this product so unique and effective?

Plane Jane® Hydrating Serum is made with only a few ingredients and formulated without water, thickeners or any other harmful ingredients. What we leave out is as important as what we add in. No fillers, no nasties, just 100% natural healing ingredients in every bottle and nothing else added. The product is mildly scented with Australian native rose oil and steam distilled hydrosol from the moist, rich hinterland of Byron Bay, NSW to the Rose Valley of Bulgaria.

What are some of your favourite ingredients in this Serum? And why?

My favourite ingredient in Plane Jane® Hydrating Serum is the nutrient dense "Sea Kelp Bioferment Lactobacillus". It's literally food for your skin, helping to nurture its microbiome. It contains high levels amino acids, iodine, minerals and antioxidants. Sea kelp’s anti-inflammatory properties have been known to reduce redness and irritation, and clinical studies have found it improves eczema. In keeping things green, Sea kelp is abundant, is one of the fastest growing plants in nature, and can grow up to two feet per day. Sea Kelp farming is environmentally beneficial because the plant pulls in more greenhouse gases from the water nearly any other water plants. Hyaluronic Acid is another amazing ingredient. It instantly hydrates deep into your skin by holding up to around 1000 times its weight in water. Plane Jane® Hydrating Serum contains two different types of sodium hyaluronate in different molecular weights. This helps to hydrate on the deepest possible level. It also contains vitamin E, which acts as an antioxidant to help nourish and protect your skin from damage caused by free radicals.

Vitamin B5 is included to act as a barrier booster, stimulating your skin's healing process, improving elasticity and hydration of the skin. Aloe vera contains an anti-inflammatory with a compound called C-glucosyl chromone which helps to regenerate new cells and rebuild damaged tissue.

These ingredients are combined to keep the skin deeply hydrated, protect and strengthen the skin barrier. Formulated with no unnecessary fillers or thickeners, this formulation works with the use of only natural active ingredients.

Do you have any tips as to how consumers can use this product for the best results?

Plane Jane® Hydrating Serum should be applied to damp skin followed by a moisturizer. If you live in a dry climate, an extra layer is super helpful. During humid days I like to apply the serum on damp skin, later reapplying as needed.  For oily skin types or during high humidity this product has the power to replace the moisturizer entirely. Plane Jane works with the humidity to keep my skin soft and supple without using other products. It can also be used as a primer, applied on the skin before makeup. Used together with Terra Illuminating Face Mud, this serum helps add deep hydration while exfoliating and brightening. You can also use it in your hair to refresh and hydrate.
